AAC Autoclave Systems
Innovative Solutions for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Production
Vertisa is proud to offer high-performance AAC Autoclave Systems, designed to meet the demands of the modern construction industry. These systems play a crucial role in the production of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC), a lightweight, precast building material known for its thermal insulation, fire resistance, and eco-friendliness. With advanced technology and customizable designs, Vertisa ensures superior quality and efficiency in AAC manufacturing.
What is Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC)?
AAC is a sustainable building material made from a mixture of quartz sand, calcined gypsum, lime, cement, water, and aluminum powder. The chemical reaction between these components creates millions of tiny air bubbles, giving AAC its unique lightweight and insulating properties.
Key Benefits of AAC:
- Lightweight: Up to 80% air by volume, making it easy to handle and transport.
- Thermal Insulation: Exceptional energy efficiency for buildings.
- Fire Resistance: Non-combustible, offering improved safety.
- Workability: Can be easily cut, drilled, and shaped on-site.
- Eco-Friendly: Produces lower environmental impact compared to traditional materials.
AAC is widely used in construction for blocks, wall panels, floor and roof panels, and more, providing a versatile solution for sustainable building projects.
The Role of Vertisa AAC Autoclave Systems
Vertisa’s AAC Autoclave Systems are integral to the production process of AAC. These autoclaves are large, pressurized steam chambers that cure the AAC mixture at high temperatures and pressures, enhancing its strength, durability, and dimensional stability.
How It Works:
- Preparation and Mixing: Raw materials are mixed to form a slurry.
- Casting and Rising: The slurry is poured into molds and allowed to rise, forming a lightweight “cake.”
- Cutting: The cake is cut into desired shapes and sizes.
- Autoclaving: The cut blocks are placed in Vertisa’s autoclaves, where they are cured with steam at approximately 190°C and 12 bar pressure for 10–12 hours.
- Final Product: The cured blocks are removed, ready for use in construction.
